Swipe the Cause

Swipe the Cause was founded by a small group of employees at Payment Logistics who wanted to do something good in our community while at the same time growing our business in a sustainable and responsible fashion. After speaking with family, friends and local stakeholders in our community, the light turned on and Swipe The Cause was born. By drawing on our principal business function as an electronic payment processor, we realized we could redirect a portion of the fees business operators were already paying to accept credit and debit cards towards a cause that would be important to them and their customers. From there the idea took shape and in November 2009 Swipe The Cause was officially launched. Since then Swipe The Cause has progressed from a regional phenomenon to to a nationwide program. Though many other companies have directly imitated Swipe the Cause, we remain committed to our core principles on which the program was founded and are proud to be the original idealogs behind it.
